Even the Large size crew socks are tight on my calves

I purchase a bundle of crew socks. I opted for the Large size which is UK 11+. My UK shoes sizes are 10-11. But I feel the elastic is too tight on the calves. When I walking and moving I notice less, but when I am sedentary I feel like I need to get them off. Maybe need to consider non tight socks for my next purchase.
